Each year SHCF partners with other community organizations to bring a little extra holiday cheer to those in need.
Brown Bag Food Distribution Program
Family Food Distribution Program
The Family Food Distribution Program is available to low-income families living in Signal Hill who meet low income qualifications. Extremely low and low income Signal Hill residents are eligible for the program.
Senior Food Distribution Program
A supplement of groceries is available to low-income residents of Signal Hill over the age of 55 through the City’s Brown Bag Food Distribution Program. Groceries consist of a variety of meat, chicken, fresh fruit and vegetables, and canned goods.
TERRY ROGERS COMMUNITY ACTION AWARD & GRANT
The Terry Rogers Community Action Award & Grant has been established to provide funds for local residents who want to do what Terry did, bring food to our seniors, support our police, fill the gaps of other programs by giving their time to the residents of Signal Hill. LIVE OUT LOUD SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
